AstroWay/api v2.325.0 · ko

// custom elements · npm · cdn

Web components. 11 elements, live.

@astroway/ui is plain HTML tags that draw themselves: in HTML, WordPress, Vue, Svelte and React with no wrapper. Charts are drawn by the same code behind /v1/render/*. The package is in alpha (0.1.0-alpha.3), so attribute names may still change.

// 01 / live

Live, with the code for each

The key, language and theme below rewrite every snippet on the page. Previews call /v1/public/* from your browser and share a budget of 30 units an hour per IP; changing the language makes new requests.

// 02 / layers

Three ways to feed an element

  • A. Your data. Your server makes the request with your key and hands the element the JSON as its data property or attribute. Nothing leaves the visitor's browser, so any key class works. That is how the wheel, table and grid on this page are drawn.
  • B. Keyless. Elements on /v1/public/* need no key and share the visitor's public budget.
  • C. Browser key. Elements on keyed endpoints take a pk_ key created for your site, with its origin list, credit cap and endpoint scope. A secret aw_ key is refused before any request is made.
  • In React pass the key as api-key, because React keeps key for itself; on a server-rendered page pass layer A data as a string.

Put the first tag on your page

Keyless elements work straight away. For a wheel drawn from your users' data, create a pk_ key in the dashboard.
