Solar arc moves the whole chart forward by one number: the distance the Sun has travelled by secondary progression. Astrocartography takes a single birth moment and projects it onto the whole planet: instead of asking where the planets were in the sky, it asks where on Earth each planet was angular. The endpoint returns the line geometry you plot on a world map to see which longitudes activate which planetary energy.

A paran is the point where two astrocartography lines cross: a place where two planets were simultaneously angular. This endpoint returns every crossing for a birth moment, with the coordinates of each, so you can mark the map points where two planetary themes fuse instead of merely running side by side.

A star and a planet are in paran when both are angular at the same moment, and whether that can happen depends on latitude alone. So a paran is a latitude, which is how Bernadette Brady tabulates it, and this endpoint returns latitudes rather than points. 953 stars are available, 36 in the default set.

Rank real cities against the astrocartography lines of a chart, for one of nineteen areas of life. 34,028 places from GeoNames, scored by how close each sits to the lines that area is built from, with the supportive and the challenging side reported separately.

Local space asks a different question from astrocartography: not where on Earth a planet was angular, but in which compass direction it stood from the birthplace. The endpoint returns an azimuth and an altitude for every body, plus the great-circle path that direction traces across the globe.

A geodetic chart derives the four angles from geography alone. Zero degrees of Aries is pinned to the Greenwich meridian, every degree of longitude becomes a degree of the zodiac, and any place on Earth acquires a Midheaven and an Ascendant without a birth time being involved at all.

Natal astrocartography answers where a chart works. Solar return astrocartography answers where it works this year. The endpoint computes the exact moment the Sun returns to its natal longitude in the year you specify, then maps that chart across the globe as its own set of angular lines.

Line geometry alone does not tell a user where to move. This endpoint takes an area of life, picks the astrocartography lines that actually govern it, ranks them by how strongly and how closely they apply, and returns the interpretation text for each. One call replaces the planet-to-theme mapping every relocation product otherwise has to invent in-house.

Essential dignities measure how comfortably each planet sits in the sign and degree it occupies. This endpoint runs every body through the five-fold traditional scheme — rulership, exaltation, triplicity, term, and face — together with the two debilities, and returns both a per-planet breakdown and a single weighted total.

Beyond the moving planets, the older layer of astrology reads the fixed stars — Regulus, Spica, Algol, Aldebaran and their peers. This endpoint scans a natal chart for tight conjunctions to those major stars and returns each contact with its orb, so you can fold a star's reputed character into a reading.

The Arabic Parts, or Hellenistic Lots, are calculated points derived by arithmetic on the chart rather than read directly off the sky. This endpoint computes the Lot of Fortune, Spirit, Eros and the rest from formulas on the Ascendant and two planets, handling the day-birth and night-birth reversal that real Lot practice demands.

Cosmobiology reads a chart through midpoints: the degree exactly halfway between two planets, and any third planet that lands on it. This endpoint computes the midpoint structure of a chart, assembles the midpoint tree for each planet, and flags the symmetries that the 90° dial tradition treats as the chart's most active points.

Most aspect work happens along the ecliptic in longitude, but two bodies can also relate by declination — their distance north or south of the celestial equator. This endpoint works in that second dimension, finding parallels and contraparallels, the declination analogues of the conjunction and opposition, and noting when a body runs out of bounds.

Vimshottari is the 120-year planetary-period cycle that anchors Vedic timing. This endpoint reads the sidereal Moon's position at birth, locates the nakshatra it occupies, and from that single point unrolls the ordered chain of Mahadashas — the major life periods, each governed by one of the nine grahas — with the exact calendar dates that bound them.

Varga charts are the magnifying lenses of Jyotish: each one subdivides every sign into a chosen harmonic and re-maps the planets onto a finer grid that speaks to one domain of life. This endpoint takes a birth moment and a requested division — D1 through D60 — and returns where each planet falls in that varga.

Shadbala — literally 'six-fold strength' — is the classical way to quantify how much a planet can actually deliver on its promises in a chart. This endpoint computes each graha's total strength as the sum of its six constituent balas, returning a per-planet score in rupas so you can rank the planets by how strongly they are positioned to act.

This endpoint computes the Pythagorean Life Path number — the single digit that condenses a birth date into its core numerological signature. It is one calculation within a broader suite spanning four systems and roughly ten calculations each, and it runs as pure arithmetic with no ephemeris and no astrology involved.

This endpoint performs a seeded, reproducible draw from the 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith deck for the three-card spread. It returns the spread metadata, the integer seed that governed the shuffle, and the drawn cards with their positions, orientations and meanings — so any reading can be replayed exactly by passing the seed back.

This endpoint computes the Human Design bodygraph from a single birth event. It combines the natal Personality chart with the Design chart — taken roughly 88° of solar arc before birth, about three months earlier — and derives the mechanical elements of the bodygraph: Type, Strategy, Authority, Profile, Centers, Channels, Gates and the Incarnation Cross.

This endpoint generates a written daily horoscope for a zodiac sign on a given date by calling our LLM gateway. It returns the horoscope text, a disclaimer, the model that produced it, and the language of the output. Unlike the calculation endpoints it is generated guidance rather than a deterministic result.
