Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering or using AstroWay API (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm your authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Service description

AstroWay API provides HTTP endpoints for astrology calculations, AI interpretations, and horoscopes. Calculations run server-side via Swiss Ephemeris (WASM). The Service is available at api.astroway.info.

3. Accounts and API keys

• Each user receives one or more API keys.
• You are responsible for keeping your keys confidential.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized key usage.
• We reserve the right to disable a key without notice upon violation of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may:

• Integrate AstroWay API into your applications (web, mobile, desktop, bot).
• Use returned data for commercial purposes according to your chosen plan.
• Cache API responses client-side.

You may not:

• Resell API access as a standalone product (white-label proxy).
• Use the API for bulk scraping or algorithm reverse engineering.
• Exceed rate limits or bypass credit restrictions through technical means.
• Represent AI interpretations as medical, legal, or financial advice.
• Remove or hide disclaimers from AI responses when displayed to end users.

Multi-account abuse. One user or one organization equals one account. Creating multiple free accounts to circumvent credit/rate limits, coordinating between accounts to distribute load, or using disposable email addresses to bypass email verification is a material breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to (a) immediately terminate all linked accounts, (b) forfeit accumulated credits without refund, and (c) block Service access from the corresponding IP addresses/device fingerprints. Detection uses a combination of signals: payment fingerprint, browser fingerprint, IP segment, behavioral patterns.

5. Credits and payment

• Every API request deducts credits per the pricing table.
• Credits are replenished monthly per your plan.
• Overage is billed per plan (Indie / Starter: $5 per 10K, Pro: $3 per 10K, Business: $2 per 10K).
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
• Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.

6. AI content

• AI interpretations and horoscopes are generated by language models based on calculation data.
• They are intended solely for entertainment and self-reflection.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI content for any purpose.
• You must preserve disclaimers when displaying AI content to end users.

7. Availability and SLA

• Free: best effort, no availability guarantees.
• Indie / Starter / Pro: 99.9% monthly uptime SLA — details and service credits at /en/sla/.
• Business: 99.95% monthly uptime SLA.
• Enterprise: custom SLA per contract.
• Scheduled maintenance announced 48 hours in advance on the status page.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions, data loss, or financial damages.
• Inaccuracies in calculations or AI interpretations.
• Actions by third parties using your API keys.

Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

• You may close your account at any time via the Dashboard.
• We may terminate service for violation of these terms with 7 days’ notice (except fraud/abuse — immediate).

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email and Dashboard 30 days before taking effect.
